Supermodel In Training
Spring weather finally graced us with it’s presence this past Friday so Libby and I head outdoors for an impromptu photo shoot. She’s definitely getting the knack of it and is a pleasure to photography. Very simple setup here. Standing in front of our garage with a single strobe to camera left with a shoot-thru umbrella. Basic adjustments in Lightroom and Photoshop and that’s it. Gorgeous!

A Promise Delivered
My daughter has been after me for quite a while to post some of her drawings to my website so she can share them with her friends. Now that we’re stuck in the house due to some bad winter weather I was finally able to deliver on her request. So without further delay I introduce you to Libby’s most recent drawings…
Workout Before The Workout
Last night I arrived home to find two large boxes sitting in the middle of my driveway covered in light dusting of snow. The boxes were my new Bowflex dumbbells that I had ordered the last week of December. While I was pleased that they arrived I was none to happy about the fact that FedEx had dumped the boxes upside down and on top of each in the middle of the driveway after dark. Next I had to open them up outside in the cold (too heavy to carry box inside) and remove all the packing materials to get to the weights. Then I had to remove the safety strapping so I could remove part of the dumbbell to carry it inside before grabbing the remaining plates. Long story short I wound up doing a full cardio/weight workout before I even had them in my basement workout area. All total it was 180+ lbs moved from outside into my basement via 4 trips (inside & out) over the course of 25 minutes. Can’t wait to see what an official workout will be like with these weights.
Burning, Birthdays & Booker’s
Closing out the night before my birthday with the final glass of Booker’s received on my birthday last year. Hoping it will burn out the cold I’ve been dealing with for a few days.
Harry Potter Birthday Party
This weekend we had a birthday party for my daughter Libby who turned 10 years old this past week. The party however was far from your typical birthday party. Libby you see is a huge Harry Potter fan and she requested a Harry Potter themed party. So along with her Harry Potter costume we had magic potions, candies themed from the movie (including worms) and candles galore. It was a very cute party and Libby truly enjoyed herself. Now if she could only use a magic want to clean up her room….
